Import from other online services

How does MyOtherDrive Import work?

Use our 'Import' feature to bring your files directly from another online storage service to MyOtherDrive, without having to download and then upload the files. Click the 'Import' button on the main toolbar, and a window will come up displaying the online storage services from which MyOtherDrive can import. Select your service from the list. If you are using a service that is not listed, check back later as we are constantly adding support for other services. Feel free to use our 'Contact Us' page to make a request for your particular service.

After you select your service, enter your username and password for that service in the fields provided. This information is not stored on your computer, it is used to log into your account on the other service.

Select a folder within your MyOtherDrive account where your imported folders and files will be stored. This is done by selecting a folder in the 'folder tree' on the left.

Next, click 'Start' to begin the import process. Our system will log into your service and download your files and folders from the other service directly to MyOtherDrive. The destination will be the folder you choose. If the other service supports folders and sub-folders, our import feature will (if possible) recreate that same folder structure within your MyOtherDrive account. This is a big time saver as your time investment in organizing your files is not wasted.
